2024 Tribal Leaders Summit
Welcome to the 27th Annual Tribal Leaders Summit, an empowering and transformative gathering that unites tribes from across the nation! Hosted by United Tribes Technical College and in partnership with Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board, the Summit will be in Bismarck, North Dakota from September 4 – 5, 2024.
Over the two days, our carefully curated program will feature thought-provoking keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities that will foster understanding, promote cultural exchange, and foster collective progress. Our diverse range of topics will touch upon vital issues such as healthcare, education, culture, economic development, and much more.

2024 Keynote Speaker
Hollie Mackey, Ph.D. (Northern Cheyenne) is the Chief Executive Officer for the North Dakota Advanced Agriculture Technology Engine (FARMS) funded through the National Science Foundation where she drives agriculture innovation strategies to solve for food insecurity through use-inspired research, technology, and education and workforce development. Dr. Mackey formerly served as the Executive Director for the White House Initiative to Advance Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Native Americans and Strengthening Tribal Colleges and Universities and was co-chair for the White House Council on Native American Affairs education committee. Through these efforts, she has contributed toward advancing Indigenous knowledges through intersecting policy solutions designed to provide structural support for Tribal sovereignty and self-determination.
