Wayne Ducheneaux, enrolled with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, is the Executive Director of the Native Governance Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a mission to assist Tribal nations in strengthening their governance systems and capacity to exercise sovereignty. Previously, Wayne managed the Cheyenne River Motel, a tribal enterprise; served as the Administrative Officer of the Tribe; and served as District 4 Council Representative with two of those years as Vice-Chairman. He is also a Native Nation Rebuilder from Cohort 3 and serves on the board of the Four Bands Community Fund.
